Board & Barrel
Fresh soups, salads and build-your-own mac and cheese in Naperville
Mario Aliano is on a roll, targeting a January opening for his new Board & Barrel restaurant at 218 S. Washington St., Naperville.
The restaurateur’s latest addition will join two others in the fold — the five-year-old Aliano’s Ristorante in Batavia and a similar property that made its debut in November in East Dundee.
“At Board & Barrel the emphasis will be on fresh — never frozen — ingredients,” says Aliano. The still-evolving menu will include a wide variety of soups and salads as well as a build-your-own mac and cheese option.
Thirty beers will be offered on draft, and customers can order from a selection of more than 100 craft beers available in bottles and cans. Aliano says the beverage service will include wine and specialty martinis plus a well-stocked bourbon and whiskey bar.
Board & Barrel, which occupies remodeled space formerly housing Flat Top Grill, can seat 200.
The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. with live bands providing entertainment on weekends.Edit Module
