Murray Bros. Caddyshack
Comfort food in a golf and movie-themed sports bar atmosphere in Rosemont
The recent opening of Murray Bros. Caddyshack at 9546 Balmoral Ave. in Rosemont (847 443-3673), gives diners an opportunity to enjoy comfort food in a first-class sports bar atmosphere.
As teens, many of the six Murray brothers worked as caddies, inspiring Brian Doyle Murray to write the classic golf comedy, “Caddyshack,” starring Bill Murray.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with a seating capacity of 240. Entrées are priced from $10 to $29.
“Our guests like the comfort food we serve in a family-friendly environment,” says co-founder Andy Murray.
The first Murray Bros. Caddyshack debuted in 2001 in St. Augustine, Fla., home of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
The menu offers a variety of starters, such as Crispy Potato Golf Balls, Buffalo Brussels Sprouts and Fig & Prosciutto Flat Bread. Among sandwiches are the Chicago Dog, plus various burgers. The kitchen also serves up Crab-Crusted Blackened Redfish and Baby Back Ribs.
The well-stocked, full-service bar dispenses signature cocktails. Some 30 LCDs capture televised sporting events. The venue can also accommodate private parties.Edit Module
