Crazy Fox Bar and Grille
An eclectic mix of upscale pub fare and specialty cocktails in St. Charles
Owners of Crazy Fox Bar and Grille, at 104 E. Main St. in St. Charles (630 940-2876) took their time in gutting and restoring the long-neglected premises of their new enterprise. The bar was the only original item to survive the clean sweep.
“Nothing was left to chance,” says Steven Bijelic, the son of owners Peter and Daniela Zaikowski, who took possession of the site last September.
Crazy Fox Bar and Grille debuted in mid-January. It can seat about 80 customers, including 20 at the curving full-service bar. Fourteen mostly craft beers are available on tap.
Bijelic says the menu is still a work in progress. At present, two popular dishes are rigatoni with vodka sauce and the meat and cheese charcuterie dish. The average per-person dinner, excluding alcohol, falls in the $20 to $25 range.
Crazy Fox Bar and Grille is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are accepted as are take-out orders.Edit Module
