The Bistro at Le Chocolat du Bouchard
Cathy Bouchard saw the coffee shop she founded in late 2007 at 129 S. Washington St., Naperville (630 355-5720) evolve into Le Chocolat du Bouchard, a renowned chocolate shop and patisserie. Building on that success, Bouchard recently opened a full-fledged, 90-seat bistro on the same premises.
“Our bistro features a French-American inspired menu with classic Paris ambiance,” says Bouchard, adding that customer feedback on Chef Joe Schramer’s menu so far has been “very positive.”
Popular dishes include classics Beouf Bourguignon, Croque Monsieur, French onion soup and Salmon en Croute, among others. The patisserie offers a selection of about 80 dessert items. On request, the wait staff can recommend wine pairings.
