The sixth and newest outlet of the ever-growing local GIA MIA chain of Italian restaurants may be the most distinctive yet, thanks to its location in the former Nichols Library in downtown Naperville (110 S. Washington St., 331 204-7222).
The extensively remodeled 1890s-era historic building provides a distinctive ambiance with its high ceilings, brick walls and other rustic but elegant décor. The building is also situated well above street level, offering an ideal setting for a large outdoor patio.
The Naperville location will serve the same popular chef-driven, farm-to-fork food concepts GIA MIA has become known for, including Neapolitan style, wood-fired pizzas, creative small plates, and fresh pastas. Entrées range in price from $15 to $30 and favorites include the Paccheri Vodka, giant rigatoni with Italian sausage in a vodka sauce; Tuscan Shrimp + Polenta; and the Margherita pizza.
The mixology bar offers a wide range of cocktails along with craft beers and an extensive wine list.
Daily lunch specials are offered as are half-price pizza Mondays and Wine Down Wednesdays.
