Moto Imoto

Offering a blend of “East meets West,” Pan-Asian cuisine, Moto Imoto Asian Kitchen & Sushi is slated to open later this month at 181 S. 1st St. in downtown St. Charles in the space formerly occupied by Wok n Fire.

The chef-driven menu will feature a selection of shareable plates including Asian street food, sushi and signature rolls, noodles and bowls, greens and soups. It will also include a “favorites” section highlighted by the beef tenderloin filet medallions, served with wok vegetables, rice, pineapple and sweet soy sauce. Other favorites include pan-roasted miso salmon with spinach, carrots and shiitake mushrooms in a hoisin broth, sea bass, and stir fried teriyaki chicken.

Asian street food offerings include chicken satay, chicken lettuce wraps, potstickers and Asian pork belly. Also offered are almost a dozen different sushi and signature rolls including shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, coconut shrimp and California and Caterpillar rolls.

Designed with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic in mind, Moto Imoto’s bright contemporary interior provides a welcoming vibe as both a good date-night destination and a family oriented environment.

Moto Imoto is the most recent dining offering from BG Hospitality Group, which also operates Livia Italian Eatery and several Gia Mia locations.
